To which Watts replied: "Just a bad day." Recall that Watts was supposed to star in the first prequel to the cult series "Game of Thrones". The backstory was expected to take place thousands of years before the events of the original show. Filming began in Northern Ireland in mid-2019. The author of the literary primary source himself, George R.R. Martin called the project "The Long Night". However, in November, the producer of the project, Jane Goldman, notified the participants about the closure of the project. No official reason was given.
