The Screen Actors Guild of the United States has banned its members from participating in the movieing of the movie entitled "Songbird", which is produced by Michael Bay. According to Variety, On A Lark Productions LLC, which planned to shoot the movie, could not reach an agreement with the actors' union, and this was the reason for the ban.

Songbird was expected to be the first movie made in Los Angeles since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic. To keep the crew safe, the producers promised to use some innovative movieing techniques. The new scheme of work was presented to the Screen Actors Guild and allegedly received its approval.

Details of the plot are kept secret. It is only known that we will talk about the consequences of the pandemic, when the authorities reintroduce quarantine, and, moreover, much tougher than at the first stage, citing the fact that the virus has mutated.

The cost of making the movie was not specified, but it is assumed that the production budget will be very modest, due to the lack of expensive scenery and large-scale outdoor movieing ... The selection of key players should begin at the end of May 2020. No release date has been set yet.
