Mission: Impossible 7 postponed due to coronavirus

Paramount Pictures has postponed the release of the next two Mission: Impossible movies. According to Variety, the seventh part, which was planned to be presented to viewers on July 21, 2021, is now announced for November 19, 2021, and the eighth - for November 4, 2022.

Like almost all movies currently in progress while in production, Mission Impossible 7 has been paused due to the coronavirus outbreak and restrictive measures imposed in many countries. Recall that at the end of February 2020, the leading actor Tom Cruise was going to start movieing in Venice and other areas of Italy, badly affected by the virus.

According to the plot, most of the adventures of Ethan Hunt and his team were to take place in Europe, making it difficult to move production to another location. Since the movieing of the movie was suspended indefinitely, the movieing of the next episode of the spy franchise, most likely, could not have been completed on time for the release of the tape on the stated date. Most likely, all work will resume only in the fall of 2020. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
