Paramount Picture has announced the premiere dates for the next two episodes of the Mission: Impossible franchise. According to Deadline, the seventh and eighth movies about the adventures of Ethan Hunt's team will be released on July 23, 2021 and August 5, 2022, respectively. As previously reported, Christopher McQuarrie will write the scripts and return to the director's chair. "We are thrilled that, following the huge success of Mission Impossible 6: Fallout, Chris and Tom will join forces again to create two new movies," said Paramount Pictures in a statement.
