Yuri Everson, who was responsible for the creation of special effects, spoke about this on his page in the social network Instagram. According to him, it was about the scene of the presentation of a combat kit to destroy the Predators. In one of the variants, Ellen Ripley was supposed to appear in this exoskeleton, whose role was played by another actress, since Sigourney Weaver was not involved in the project. Ripley's face was supposed to be hidden under a breathing mask, which in general resembled the "face-hunter" familiar to all fans of the Alien universe. The fact that it was Ripley would be evidenced by the name patch on the uniform. As known, in the end, the moviemakers preferred a different final scene. The Predator was released in September 2018. He was considered one of the most anticipated movie projects of the year, but even the high audience interest did not save him from failure at the box office.
