Emily Blunt will accompany Dwayne Johnson in the tentatively titled Jungle Cruise, which will be based on the popular Disneyland attraction. According to the Variety edition, the director of the movie will be the creator of "The Shallows" Jaume Collet-Serra.

The plot has not yet been specified, it is only known that the script's authors drew inspiration from the classic Hollywood movie "African Queen", which starred Catherine Hepburn, Theodore Bickel, Humphrey Bogart, Robert Morley, Peter Bull and other Hollywood stars.

Filming is expected to start in May 2018, the date of the premiere has not yet been announced. Note that this will be the third joint project of Emily Blunt and Walt Disney Studios. She previously starred in the musical "Into the Woods" and an adaptation of Pamela Travers's Mary Popins Returns. The test run of the latter is said to have impressed Walt Disney executives.

Disney's classic Jungle Cruise is a river trip where visitors to the park meet a variety of African animals, including Nile crocodiles and rhinos.
