Electronic Arts, in response to criticism from fans, has decided to lower the "cost" of key characters in Star Wars: Battlefront II. This is reported on the official project page.

"Well, we're reducing the credits required to unlock the best heroes by 75 percent. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will now be available for 15,000 credits; Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca and Leia Organa for 10,000 credits; and Ayden for 5000 credits. Based on what we saw during testing, this amount will make unlocking these heroes feasible for all players. This is a big change and something we can do quickly. Available today with a special update ", - the company said in a statement.

Note that the indignation of the first players, who took part in the testing was caused by the fact that to unlock Vader or Skywalker, at least 60 thousand game credits were required, for which it was necessary to play for more than 40 hours. Naturally, in-game credits could be purchased for very real money, which put players with different financial capabilities in an unequal playing field.

Star Wars: Battlefront II is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017.
