True Detective Season 3 Trailer Revealed
HBO has unveiled the first trailer for the third season of True Detective, starring Oscar winner Mahershal Ali. He will play a detective from Northwest Arkansas Wayne Hayes, investigating a mysterious and nightmarish crime. The action will take place in multiple time frames. Series creator Nick Pizzolatto is the only writer on the show, with the exception of David Milch, co-writer of the fourth episode. Pizzolatto will also act as showrunner and director with Jeremy Saulnier ("Catastrophe"). The premiere of the third season is scheduled for January 2019.
