Fox continues to challenge its viewers with a global revision of its television projects. According to Deadline, this time around, the changes have been made to the DC comics-based TV series Gotham.

The fifth season, which Fox has commissioned to produce, is said to be the last. It will include 13 episodes that conclude the story of the transformation of the heir to the financial empire Bruce Wayne into the thunderstorm of the Gotham underworld - Batman.

Note that the rating of the last seasons of the show has been steadily decreasing compared to the rating of the first one, presented in 2014, however Gotham continued to be popular with a significant number of viewers. Its audience across all platforms averaged 5.5 to 5.8 million viewers per episode.

The project involved actors Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazows, Zabrina Guevara, Sean Pertui, Robin Taylor, Erin Richards, Camren Bikondova, Corey Michael Smith, John Doeman and others.

The Gotham series is not was awarded with prestigious professional awards. In 2015, co-star Robin Taylor was nominated for the KinoNews Best Actor in a Series category, but lost to his rivals in the competition.
