Gotham TV series finds young Bruce Wayne and Celina Kyle
Warner Bros. Studios Television and Fox have recruited young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle aka Catwoman for Gotham. According to ComingSoon, they are David Mazous (Communication, Thinking Like a Criminal) and Samren Bikondova (Childish Dances), respectively. In the upcoming series, which tells the original stories about the Commissioner James Gordon, Bruce is described as a ten year old child doomed to loneliness after the tragic death of his parents. Selina, an orphan teen, is incredibly suspicious and totally unpredictable. A skilful pickpocket and street thief, she becomes dangerous when cornered. At the time of this writing, the show features Ben McKenzie (Detective James Gordon), Robin Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot), Sean Pertwee (Albert Pennyworth), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), Zabrina Guevara (Captain Essen), Erin Richards (Barbara Keane), Drew Powell (Butch Gilzin) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney). The script for the pilot of the series was written by Bruno Heller and directed by Danny Cannon. Both will serve as executive producers. The series is scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2014.
