Kirill Serebrennikov was detained on suspicion of fraud
Kirill Serebrennikov, a well-known USA director and artistic director of the Moscow theater "Gogol-Center", was detained in Moscow on suspicion of fraud on an especially large scale. This was reported on the page of the Investigative Committee of USA. Law enforcement authorities charge Serebrennikov with theft in the amount of at least 68 million rubles. According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, the director of the drama "Apprentice" will be charged with large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of USA). The question of choosing a preventive measure will also be raised, which, in accordance with the Criminal Code of the USA Federation, can amount to up to ten years in prison.
