Star Wars: Squadrons Trailer Premiere
EA has announced a new game set in the Star Wars universe - Star Wars: Squadrons. This will be a first-person space action game in which players will be able to control famous fighters in single and multiplayer battles. The first story trailer was also presented, which can be viewed below. Developed by Motive Montreal (which was previously involved with Battlefront II and Anthem), the game will allow players to "fly" ships such as the X-Wing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, U- Wing, TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber and TIE Reaper. EA will not reveal gameplay until the start of the EA Play Live event on June 18, but it is promising many multiplayer modes now, including “ Battle of the fleets ”, where the goal is to co-ordinate with your teammates and ultimately destroy the enemy's flagship starship, as well as the more traditional dogfighting mode.
