Marvel has abandoned further movieing of Spider-Man
Sony Pictures and Marvel have failed to agree on a new agreement to jointly exploit the Spider-Man image, so Marvel and its head Kevin Feige will no longer oversee the creation of new movies dedicated to the superhero. This is reported by the publication Deadline. Sources claim that after the movie adaptation of "Spider-Man: Far From Home" became the highest-grossing movie in the history of Sony Pictutres, Marvel proposed a new contract, involving co-financing of the tapes about Spider-Man and, accordingly, different conditions for the distribution of profit from the rental. Sony rejected this offer. "We are disappointed, but respectful of Walt Disney's decision to withdraw Kevin Feige from his post as the main producer of our next Spider-Man movie. We hope that this may change in the future, but understand that many of the new responsibilities that Disney has placed on him, including caring for all newly acquired Marvel characters, prevent him from working on intellectual property that they do not own.
