Arnold Schwarzenegger will play Kung Fury (Topic)

In the cast of the fantastic comedy "Kung Fury" there was an impressive replenishment in the literal sense of the word. According to the publication Deadline, Arnold Schwarzenegger joined him. The former governor of California will join the previously announced lead actor Michael Fassbender.

Note that the project will be based on a short movie of the same name, directed by David Sandberg in 2015. The full-length version will take place in 1985. Miami is safe under the watchful eye of Kung Fury, the greatest cop of all time. He leads a special police squad, which includes the best fighters in history, and intends to defeat the villainous Kung Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler. After the tragic death of one of their members, the squad breaks up, a mysterious villain emerges from the shadows to help the Fuhrer acquire the ultimate weapon. Kung Fury must penetrate space and time to save his friends, protect the prestigious Kung Fu Academy, and defeat evil once and for all.

Filming under the direction of Sandberg should start in the summer of 2018. The movie will also feature David Hasselhoff, who also starred in the short original. The rental schedule of the painting has not yet been specified.
