Arnold Schwarzenegger goes to the presidency

Image The short film "Kung Fury" was released in 2015 and instantly became a sensation on the web. The film, set in Miami in the 80s, mixed seemingly incompatible things and figures: martial arts, time travel, dinosaurs, Adolf Hitler. Director David Sandberg planned to shoot a sequel to "Kung Fury", but the other day, movie fans learned another, no less good news: the short film will serve as the basis for a full-fledged movie, in which Michael Fassbender got the main role.

However, the good news does not end there. According to the portal Deadline, Fassbender will be accompanied by the legend of the action genre Arnold Schwarzenegger. It seems that thanks to Kung Fury 2, the former governor of California will finally fulfill his dream of becoming the president of the United States, albeit not in real life, but on the big screens.

Filming of the project will start this summer. The script was written by Sandberg and Tyler Burton Smith. Events will unfold in 1985 in Miami. Under the vigilant control of Kung Fury, the best detective of all time, the city is safe. Only the main character and his associates from the police department are able to defeat Kung Fuhrer - Adolf Hitler. To save his friends and destroy evil forever, Kung Fury will have to make an amazing journey through space and time.

In addition to Fassbender and Schwarzenegger, David Sandberg, who played the main role in the original, and David Hasselhoff, who made a bright cameo in the short film, will take part in the filming.

The full-length version of Kung Fury is not the only project that Arnold Schwarzenegger should star in in the near future. The action star previously agreed to star in the new Terminator, the comedy Triplets, and the television western for Amazon's online service.
