It should be understood that the desire of the Korean manufacturer to create a powerful camera is justified. At the end of this year, Qualcomm intends to announce a new 5nm Snapdragon 875 processor. According to its characteristics, this chipset will be the most suitable for working with sensors like Nonacell. It is said to have pixel binning functionality that only the Galaxy S20 Ultra currently has.

There are also rumors that Korean engineers are working on another product - a 144 megapixel camera. There is no confirmation yet that this sensor and Nonacell are the same. So we are talking about another technology or production method.
