Eric Baron creates two more Stardew Valley games

Last year, the creator of the spiritual successor to Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Eric Baron, released the final update to the game, which brought it to the state he originally planned to see. Now he has moved on and is working on two new projects.

The first game will be set in the Stardew Valley universe, but it is not a farming simulator. The second game will also be part of this universe, but the author has not yet decided on its concept. However, both of them will be top-down and have a pixel art style. The first game will be a new stage in the life of the developer, as he wants to surpass everything in Stardew Valley, in terms of content, music, design and mechanics. As it turns out, Baron was working on it while he was creating updates for Stardew Valley.

The second game has only recently begun to form in his head. He develops it, focusing on intuition, creating new elements from which the following ideas emerge. So to speak, he trusted his unconscious in this. It will also be much smaller than his previous projects and it will take a little time to create. A strong statement considering the Baron planned to make a "small" Stardew Valley in a year. In the end, I spent 5 years.

He also asked fans not to create unnecessary hype, and not to expect something great from the games, since he does not seek to create another hit. First of all, he tries to make a game that he likes.

Just like last time, he works in splendid isolation. If you are not yet familiar with the beautiful yet harsh history of the creation of Stardew Valley, we suggest reading our material.

The Last of Us Part 2 has reached the final stage of creation

The Last of Us Part 2 is running towards the finish line, and at the time of writing the news, there are only 107 days left [according to the PlayStation blog]. In honor of such an event, the developer has shared new art and game details.

The studio has unveiled the Ellie Edition Collector's Edition, which will go on sale again from February 13th. Its price is $ 299.99.

Also at PAX East, everyone will be able to try out a demo of the game that was shown to reporters last fall.

Best of all, Naughty Dog featured a dynamic two-image core theme for the game. The first is calm, where Ellie plays the guitar, and the second is tense, personifying the end of the game and the atmosphere of revenge.

You can download it from the PlayStation Store using the code 9DEK-PKNG-N445. You have until 2021 to pick up the theme.

Jeff Keighley will not be at E3 Coliseum

For the first time in 25 years, Jeff Keighley will not be participating in E3. Instead, he will come up with other ways to support the industry. He told GI.biz about this.

According to the host, given the publicly announced plans for E3 2020, he doesn't feel comfortable participating in the show. Although it was a difficult decision, he decided to announce it as early as possible before fans start buying tickets for the event.

He believes that now E3 is at a turning point for him, when everything is becoming more global than ever.

As someone who has been attending E3 for over two and a half decades, he was certainly exhausted as well. But if you look at it objectively, then E3 is just an idea of bringing industry and fans together to glorify media on a global scale. The future of E3 will be shaped by how effectively the brand achieves this goal.

As a reminder, last year the ESA organizing committee decided to redesign the EA format and make it more entertaining and popular in the spirit of Comic-Con or Gamescom.

Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer will become playable characters in RE Resistance

Image

As a reminder, RE Resistance is an asymmetric multiplayer game for RE3, where four survivors confront one person who sends monsters at them and set traps.

Capcom introduced us to two antagonists - Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer. Alex is a member of the Tyrant Creation and Human Experiment Team. She focuses on stealth, trapping and the use of carnivorous plants.

Spencer, one of the co-founders of Umbrella, uses a disintegration field that inflicts damage on survivors if they come near him. Annette Birkin and Daniel Fabron are other characters, and their tame monsters are the mutated Birkin and the tyrant.

In addition, we were shown screenshots of new locations - an amusement park and a casino.

Love Powers PlayStation - Sony February 14th Ad

And finally, here's an epic PlayStation ad for Valentine's Day with a rather creepy "Love, Death, Robots" presentation. Not a bad oversight.
