The director of the Prince of Persia will make a movie about the poisoned FSB agent
Director Mike Newell, who directed such famous movies as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, will stage a movie dedicated to Alexander Litvinenko, Variety reports. The former FSB agent died at the end of November 2006 in a London hospital. The cause of death was poisoning with polonium-210. The circumstances of Litvinenko's poisoning were never fully clarified. He himself blamed the USA authorities for this. The script of the movie will be based on the book The Terminally Sick Spy, written by Allan Cowell, the chief of the London bureau of The New York Times.
