Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is a future game from the Polish studio Draw Distance. At the beginning of the week, the developer shared with us the first details about his project.

Coteries of New York is inspired by games from the now-dead Talltale, but unlike their projects, it will not be an interactive adventure, but a full-fledged visual novel. At the very least, such feelings arise from viewing screenshots of the pre-alpha version of the game.

We are playing classically for a newly converted young kinsman who joins the "Camarilla" - the faction that currently controls the vampire world and guards the Masquerade. In the future, the hero will meet other canonical factions, as well as gather his group.

The main aspect of the game is choice. It will change the plot of the game, as well as the relationship with the members of your group. The following components will also affect the story:

• Hunger is bloodlust. There will often be opportunities to drink blood in the game that you can take advantage of or miss.
• Humanity is a measure of how close the vampire is to the uncontrollable form of the beast. Changes depending on the decisions made based on morality.
