Cyberpunk 2077 - CD Project Reveals Multiplayer, Character Editor & Stealth Walkthrough
According to numerous information, it becomes obvious that the new role-playing game CD Project Cyberpunk 2077 will be radically different from the well-known Witcher series. Moreover, the differences will be not only in the setting and the change of camera perspective from third to first person, but also in numerous gameplay moments. Today we'll talk about some of them: character creation system, multiplayer and stealth mechanics. Mark Pearce, who is in charge of level design, told SharkNews why it is so important for developers to let users create their own character in the game editor. The fact is that in the original board game Cyberpunk 2020, character creation was one of the main points that largely determines the entire further history of the player. To achieve this relationship between character creation and plot, to give each player the most unique gameplay - the goal pursued by CD Project in Cyberpunk. SharkNews also asked about multiplayer in Cyberpunk 2077. What will it be and will it be? The representatives of the Polish studio could not answer all these questions, but they assured that, yes, the multiplayer elements are now being worked out and are more likely to appear in the game. But at this stage, the most important thing is to create a large-scale and non-linear single player game, so only after the release of Cyberpunk 2077 can we expect an update that adds multiplayer to the game.  Another distinctive feature of "Cyberpunk" from the "Witcher" trilogy will be the presence of a hidden passage. The developers strive to create a game in which you yourself decide how to go through this or that place. Don't want to waste your time and energy to destroy hordes of opponents? Find a workaround. For example, with the right level of hacking, open a path through the ventilation shaft and make your way unnoticed. We haven't seen the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077, but the short comments from the developers suggest that the game mechanics will be very similar to the Deus Ex series. But, unfortunately, we will not be able to check the veracity of the guesses soon, since the release date of the game has not yet been announced.
