This system is both very compact and efficient. All of its work depends on heat pipes, which use such phenomena as thermal conductivity and the ability of water to change state. All this allows you to absorb heat inside the computer and displace it outside.

The cooling system of a laptop is a fan, several cooling plates and heat pipes attached to them. They are copper passages that are both hollow and sealed, nothing can get in and out of them.
When the laptop is turned on, its components become very hot, in some the temperature reaches one hundred degrees Celsius. Despite all their tightness, heat pipes are able to absorb heat from one end and transfer it along their entire length to the other.
Essentially they get rid of heat by transferring it to the cooling fins. The fan drives air, which absorbs the heat and blows it out. Heat pipes are in contact with all the components of the laptop that generate heat, they are located just below them. Although the tubes are hollow, they are not empty. Copper fibers stretch along the cavity of the tubes, and between them there is water in a liquid state. When objects are physically in contact with each other, the temperature drops, this is due to thermal conduction.
When the components of the laptop become hot, the surface of the heat pipes absorbs it using thermal conduction. Inside the tubes, the temperature rises, and the water begins to absorb this heat, it evaporates and changes its state. Hot steam fills the space between the fibers. This forms the beginning of the vortex that allows the heat pipes to expel heat outside.
At the same time, the tubes on the side are always cold, because they are constantly in contact with the plates, which are cooled by circulating air. The sides absorb the heat of the vapor, as the heat is released, the water changes its state again and returns to a liquid form, again accumulating between the fibers. It then fills the space between the fibers, reaching the hot end of the tube, where it begins to evaporate again.
In these tubes, evaporating water is constantly replaced by cold water, the circle is closed. The heat generated by the microprocessor enters the heat pipes from one end and is transferred to the cooling fins, all thanks to the phenomenon of heat conduction. The movement of heat between the two ends of the tubes is possible only because the water is able to change its state inside these tubes. This is how heat is absorbed, moved and displaced.
The cooling system of the laptop is not large in size, but effective. Thanks to heat pipes, their ability to control the thermal conductivity of water, change its state, laptops can be overloaded with work, while they definitely will not overheat.
