Film critics trashed New Mutants movie
Film critics have smashed the long-suffering movie adaptation of the New Mutants comics. The movie's rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this post was only 20 percent, and the viewer rating was no more than 56 percent. "There is very little new," - said the author of The Hollywood Reporter Jordan Mintser. "Boone's re-shot, cut, and somehow saved from oblivion isn't all that bad. But alas, it's not that good," says Variety's Peter Debrouge. "This is the worst X-Men movie in history, akin to watching a terrible TV pilot that never went into production," wrote Forbes' Scott Mendelssohn.
