The Game Awards 2019 triumphantly took place in Los Angeles this morning - the game analogue of the Oscar, which awards the best games of the outgoing year. In addition to the awards ceremony itself and a spectacular show, it is difficult to imagine TGA every year without the announcement of new games and the presentation of trailers of the expected projects. The Game Awards 2019 was no exception, and in this article we will collect all the news from the main game show, including announcements, trailers and a list of the best games of the year.

Main Announcements of The Game Awards 2019

Xbox Series X

The prize for the most important announcement at the event will undoubtedly be taken by Microsoft after the presentation of the next-generation console Xbox Series X. You can read more about the Next-Gen game console in our separate material.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II

Together with the next generation console, Microsoft introduced the first game for the Xbox Series X - Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. The continuation of the psychedelic adventure so far has a minimum of details. It is only known that the Scandinavian experimental neofolk group Heilung is responsible for the soundtrack (it is an excerpt from the band's song that can be heard in the trailer), the release in the coming year is not worth waiting for, since the game is at an early stage of development, and the first trailer for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was created on Unreal Engine 4 and showcases real game graphics.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

Exclusive to Nintendo Switch, the superhero action game will receive its first expansion pack on December 23, X-Men: Rise of the Phoenix. The addon will add a new PvP mode and open access to 3 characters from the X-Men comics.
