DC FanDom Major Announcements: Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

At the end of last week, the first part of the DC FanDom exhibition dedicated to Warner Bros. in the DC universe. Among the game announcements, we saw the next two Batman games.

Gotham Knights

The new game teased by WB Games Montreal for so long is Gotham Knights. The main feature - Batman is dead in the game's universe.

After the death of the main protector of Gotham, his four heirs will have to fulfill his duties: Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing and the Red Hood. The heroes will confront, as previously expected, the Court of Sov. Heroes fight in pairs in co-op, but a single player is also provided.

The event showed a gameplay excerpt in which Robin and Batgirl recapture the area from Mr. Freeze. Externally, the gameplay is similar to what we saw in the Arkham series. At the same time, the developer confirmed that the game is not associated with this universe and unfolds in its own.

The main difference between the game and Rocksteady projects is pumping. The heroes and opponents now have levels, and according to the assurances of the developers, we will create unique heroes for ourselves. Most likely customization is included.

The game will be released in 2021 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, XSX, PS5.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

The second main game at the event was a project from Rocksteady - Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

This is a cooperative action game for four, the events of which will unfold in Metropolis. They will be able to play both together with friends and alone in the company of AI.

Starring Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Shark King and Captain Boomerang. All characters differ in their skills and play styles. We will be confronted, as the name suggests, by the Justice League. Alas, nothing is known about the game in terms of gameplay.

The game will be released in 2022 on PC, PS5 and XSX.

New Nintendo Switch to Come Early 2021

The Nintendo Switch is still a fairly young console, so, unlike its older brothers in the face of PS4 and Xone, it is not going to change a generation yet. But if we talk about updating the filling, then this is a completely different conversation. So, information appeared that we should wait for a new version of the console soon.

This is stated in the Chinese newspaper Economic Daily News, which cites its internal sources. The publication claims that production of pro-versions of Switch will begin this year, and the sale will start in the first quarter of 2021. The next switch model will be even more interactive than the previous one.

In addition to Economic Daily News throughout the year, other media outlets have also mentioned the expectation of an upgrade from Nintendo. In particular, The Wall Street Journal and DigiTimes wrote that the next version of the console will receive an improved processor and magnesium alloy casing.

Also, according to the assumptions of the director of the consulting company Serkan Toto, the new version of Switch will support 4K, get more capacious cartridges, and the price of this pleasure will reach $ 399.

The Game Awards will be held online

• Authors do not go beyond the original source in their ideas.
• The design of the protagonist is intentionally made less repulsive, as the developers want us to feel empathy for Gollum.
• Roleplaying, according to developers, is not standard. They describe it as a constant ride in a truck with flat tires in an effort to maintain balance and not fall off a cliff.
• Level design is described as a large hub for you to choose from.
• The looks and design of the levels will be different from what you might have seen in the Peter Jackson trilogy, as the game is made from the book.

Surgeon Simulator 2 Co-op Trailer

The main feature of Surgeon Simulator 2 is a co-op for four people. The new gameplay video shows us how this happens.
