Yandex presented its own on-board system for cars. The Yandex.Auto multimedia computer supports Yandex branded services and can be controlled by voice. The device acts as an alternative to the stock multimedia and music players.

Yandex Auto is based on the software platform of the same name. The multimedia complex includes a number of proprietary applications, combined for convenience into a single interface. The driver has Yandex.Navigator, Music, Weather, personal assistant Alice at his disposal, which complements all the services of the car computer.

The Yandex on-board computer can be controlled using a touchscreen display or using a voice assistant. The navigation option (where "Alice" is also present) can function without a network connection. The principle of operation without the Internet is identical to the Navigator for mobile devices, you need to upload a map of the selected area using the settings menu.

Among the additions provided in the Yandex multimedia complex for cars, there is mobile Internet with unlimited access for Yandex applications and a limit of 1 GB for other resources for a month. Also, together with the multimedia complex, the manufacturer provides a half-year subscription to the Yandex.Music platform.

At the moment Yandex.Auto can integrate into a limited list of cars of some popular brands, including Renault, Nissan, Kia, Volkswagen, Lada, Toyota, Skoda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi. In the future, it is planned to expand this list by adding a number of the most common car models in USA. Special compatible multimedia installation kits will be produced for them.
