Top Gun 2 postponed for a year
The Paramount Film Studio has postponed for a year the release of the military action movie "Top Shooter 2", which will be a continuation of the cult tape of 1986 release. According to Deadline, instead of July 12, 2019, as previously planned, viewers will be able to watch the sequel from June 26, 2020. The exact reason for the revision of the schedule has not been disclosed, but most likely, the creators of the picture will need more time to challenging aerial combat. Top Gun 2, which will reimagine the American Navy, will feature Tom Cruise, Glen Powell, Jennifer Connelly, Val Kilmer, John Hamm, Miles Teller, Ed Harris, Jay Ellis, Thomasin McKenzie, Monica Barbaro and other actors. Paramount has also announced the premiere of the sequel to the fantasy thriller A Quiet Place. Its release is scheduled for May 15, 2020.
