Lived, the original Diablo now runs in the browser

Thanks to the Rivsoft modding team, the first Diablo can now be launched in a browser. They did this by working with the source code, which was reworked by two teams of coders. More, for authenticity, the team kept all the original bugs to fully experience the game from Blizzard.

You can play the first two dungeons for free. If you have the original game purchased from GOG.com, you just need to drag the DIABDAT.MPQ file into the open browser window. I don't know if this is good or bad, but at least it is a fact.

Sony Threatens PS Price Hikes in Trade War with China

Now American President Donald Trump is going to wage a trade war with China, introducing a 25% duty on all goods from the Middle Kingdom. This is bad news for gamers, as one of the consequences is the rise in prices for consoles, which even Sony has already said.

This news was published by The Wall Street Journal. Sony said they would be forced to raise the retail price for their console if America did impose duties on a number of Chinese goods. Also, prices will go up for controllers and board games.

Sony CEO Hiroyuki Takeshi made a statement that high tariffs will definitely negatively impact the US economy.

Recall that most of all consoles are made in China. Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony even wrote a collective appeal, where they suggested that these duties will hit buyers' wallets.

Also, according to rumors, Nintendo has already moved some of the production to Vietnam from the PRC.

Deus Ex was originally intended to be a trilogy, and Mankind Divided was dedicated to another character

VG24 / 7 spoke with voice actor Elias Toufexis, who voiced Adam Jensen. He explained the reason why Mankind Divided is so ragged.

The first game in which the actor appeared was Need For Speed Carbon, where he played one of the possible partners of the GG. Then he was often invited to voice supporting characters in Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell.

Once he went to audition for the voice acting of Adam Jensen, and so he became this character for several years. Coincidentally, his wife Michelle Babak auditioned for the role of Adam's girlfriend. The studio did not know then that they had hired a husband and wife for the leading roles. This gave rise to interesting situations. For example, a couple had a row before work, and on that day they recorded a scene where Adam and Megan also had a fight, so the emotions turned out to be very sincere.

Toufexis did not know if he would be called back to voice Adam in Mankind Divided, as the game was planned to be about a different character. However, the game's marketing department demanded that the management return Elias. In the new part, he knew the script in advance and therefore played the character not only with his voice, but also in a motion capture costume.

According to him, the writers realized that the story of Mankind Divided was going in the wrong direction and rewrote the game with a sequel in the future.

After the sequel was released, Tuffixis waited for a call from the publisher, but he did not receive it. As it turns out, Square Enix didn't like Mankind Divided and refused to do a sequel. The actor says that the story of the third part should have been more exciting and dynamic. He fears that if a new game is released, it will most likely be a restart.
