In June, we reported that 20th Century Fox offered Angelina Jolie to star in the film adaptation of Agatha Christie's acclaimed novel Murder on the Orient Express ". According to Variety , negotiations with the Oscar-winning actress were unsuccessful, as a result of which the major decided to consider other candidates.It is possible that the refusal to participate in the creation of the detective tape may be associated with the desire of Jolie to concentrate forces on his new directorial project - the historical thriller "They First Killed My Father: Memories of Cambodia's Daughter", which is being prepared for release on the Netflix streaming service.
