Casting: The Last Dinner at a Haunted House
From Manchester by the Sea Michelle Williams heads straight to Carmel by the Sea - with Chris Pine the actress is in talks to take part in the filming of the spy thriller All the Old Knives . The information portal Variety writes about it.The main contender for the director's chair is James Marsh (Stephen Hawking's Universe), but he has just sat down at the negotiating table. The script was written by Olen Steinhower (Berlin Residency), who adapted his own novel of the same name. The film takes place in the idyllic seaside town of Carmel, where former lovers of Henry and Celia , CIA spies, meet for dinner and remember. They talk about the ill-fated hijacking of the plane, which ended in the death of everyone on board. This blunder persists in the CIA unit in Vienna to this day. The question is whether Henry came to dinner to renew the relationship, or if he wants to find out something. And apparently, one of the ex-lovers will not survive the meal ...  For her role in Manchester by the Sea, Michelle Williams has received many rave reviews and an Oscar nomination , and among the films with the actress in preparation for release, you can find dramas "A World Full of Wonders" and "Earth's Greatest Showman." As for Pine , he will soon appear on the screens in the form of his beloved Wonder Woman, after which he will also appear in the fantasy "A Crack in Time". Sarah Waters's gothic novel was adapted by Lucinda Coxon (The Danish Girl). The action tape will unfold after the Second World War in Britain. The Doctor ( Gleason ) arrives at a dilapidated estate where his mother once worked as a nanny. The owners cannot afford to pay taxes and will soon lose their home. In addition, they claim that the evil spirit of their mother's firstborn lives here. The doctor is seriously interested in one of the master's daughters ( Wilson ), thus starting a chain of terrible events.  American comedian Dave Schappell ("Chirak") has joined the cast of " A Star Is Born ", which is Bradley Cooper's directorial debut. The actor, we recall, also plays one of the main roles along with Lady Gaga. Chappell will play an old friend of Jackson Main ( Cooper ). The latter was once a country music star, but now his fame has begun to fade, and his acquaintance with a talented and promising singer ( Lady Gaga ), whose career is gaining momentum, completely knocks out Maineout of rut.
