In the last couple of years alone, TV series based on such high-profile franchises as Myst and Battlefield have gone into production. According to the publication Deadline , the inhabitants of the world of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Secret World Legends will follow the heroes of these popular game series on the small screens. The teleadaptation work will be carried out by G4C Innovation and Johnny Depp Infinitum Nihil .
The original MMORPG of the Norwegian studio Funcom was released in 2012 under the name The Secret World . The action of the online game takes place in a world inhabited not only by ordinary people, but also by a variety of supernatural creatures - from mummies and werewolves to Lovecraft monsters. Players in Secret World Legends have the right to join the secret societies of the Templars , Illuminati and Dragons , whose headquarters are located , respectively, in London, New York and Seoul.
The production team will include Christie Dembrowski (Time Keeper), Sam Sarkar (Mordecai), Gudrun Giddings (Velcro) and Johnny Depp . The series' writing team will be chaired by Hugo award winner James W. Hart (Dracula, Contact) and his son Jake, and Pam Veasey ("People of the Future").
