Johnny Depp and the Secret Societies

Image To the dismay of a multi-million dollar army of gamers, Hollywood studios are still unable to lift the curse hanging over film adaptations of the games industry's hits. Unsurprisingly, more and more video game companies are starting to look towards television.

In the last couple of years alone, TV series based on such high-profile franchises as Myst and Battlefield have gone into production. According to the publication Deadline , the inhabitants of the world of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Secret World Legends will follow the heroes of these popular game series on the small screens. The teleadaptation work will be carried out by G4C Innovation and Johnny Depp Infinitum Nihil .

The original MMORPG of the Norwegian studio Funcom was released in 2012 under the name The Secret World . The novelty received high marks in the gaming press, but its sales did not impress the company's management too much. First, the Funcom bosses changed the distribution model of The Secret World , and then decided to reboot the game altogether under the guise of Secret World Legends .
