Casting: Hellboy's Father and Company for a Dangerous Widow
In Guillermo del Toro's films about Hellboy , the protagonist's adoptive father was played by the great John Hurt, so the creators of the reboot had a difficult task to find a worthy replacement for him. The project will be directed by Neil Marshall (Descent), while Andrew Cosby (Eureka), Christopher Golden and original creator Mike Mignola are responsible for the script. The very same Hellboy in the film will be played by David Harbor - he will have to fight with a medieval sorceress who intends to destroy the world. The reboot is set to start filming in September.  Mike Monroe ("It") has a role in the film, titled The Widow , which already includes Isabelle Huppert and Chloe Grace Moretz. The last one to play is Francis - the girl who found the wallet and returned it to the mistress, an elderly widow. This event leads to the fact that a strange friendship is struck between the heroines, but as a result Francis begins to suspect that her new acquaintance is not who it seems at first glance. Mike Monroe will appear in the image of Erica - the daughter of a rich father, protecting his child from problems, and also the best friend of Francis . Filming will be directed by Neil Jordan (Byzantium).   Martin Starr (2013 End of the World: Hollywood Style Apocalypse) and Deborah Ann Wall (Daredevil) will star in Silver Lake , written by Sean McGinley ("The Great Buck Howard"). He is listed as the director of the project. Rusty Joyner ("Stuck in Love") and Justine Wachsberger ("Divergent") will also take part in the filming of the drama. In the center of the tape will be Nathan ( Starr ), trying to deal with his life, friends, girlfriend Mary ( Wall ) and her little daughters, as well as in a relationship with her own mentor.
