For those who were not particularly impressed by the trailer of the new King Kong, our distributors have prepared another one - about monsters not in their natural habitat, but under the hood of a car. The comedy Monster Trucks , based on the Hasbro toy line, is directed by Chris Wedge, who worked on the Ice Age animation franchise. The main role is played by Lucas Till, known as the mutant Havok from the X-Men: Apocalypse movie series.In "Monster Trucks" Lucas plays a high school student Tripp , who lives in a boring backwater town and dreams of leaving this dull place. The young man spends his leisure time building a huge car, a monster truck, from all sorts of rusty remains. Meanwhile, a catastrophe occurs on an oil rig not far from the city, as a result of which a cute monster is born. Like Tripp , this creature is obsessed with a thirst for speed, and therefore they very quickly find a new language, and the life of the protagonist changes dramatically ... The USA release of the comedy is scheduled for January 1, 2017 , but in the meantime, you can watch how a cute octopus-like monster helps high school students learn extreme driving ...
