The CW will send the Charmed Ones back in time
The final episode of Charmed was released over a decade ago. The show lasted eight seasons, became a kind of cultural phenomenon, and its characters migrated to the pages of comics, books and even a video game. Modern television has repeatedly confirmed that producers often rely on the feelings of nostalgic viewers, and therefore reboots and remakes of 90s series are commonplace today.The new version of "Charmed" CBS dreamed of filming since 2013, but this project was still destined to sink into oblivion. The original is set in modern times, but the heroines of the project The CW will travel back in time to 1976. The concept of the new show is such that three witches end up in a small town in New England, where they will have to fight evil. Other details of the upcoming series are still unknown, but Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin ( Jane the Virgin ) are already working on the script. The reboot is overseen by producer Jenny Snyder Urman ( Gilmore Girls ).  The relaunch is reportedly in some way tied to the original Aaron Spelling show, and journalists speculate that Charmed stars Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGown may appear in the new TV series in guest roles.
