Harry Potter Producer Reveals Military Secret
British producer David Barron (Cinderella, Harry Potter series) became interested in the detective genre. The BAFTA winner is preparing a series based on Amanda Scott's novel A Treachery Of Spies.The historical thriller was released in 2018 and became the second part of the book trilogy about the police inspector Ines Pico. The detective is assigned to investigate the mysterious death of an elderly woman who was murdered in the spirit of the traitors of the French Resistance during the Second World War. To solve a complex case, Ines plunges into the world of spy games 80 years ago. The novel earned a warm welcome in literary circles and brought Scott a couple of prestigious awards.
