Will Poulter changed his mind about visiting Middle-earth

Image The upcoming and already highly publicized series "Lord of the Rings" from streaming service Amazon has lost one of the cast members. It is reported that the project, due to a conflict in filming schedules, left Will Poulter, famous for the films "We are the Millers" and "Solstice". Who he was supposed to play in the fantasy show is not known, but at the moment he was the most recognizable actor of the entire caste, which now includes Max Baldry, Joseph Mole and Markella Cavena.

This is the second high-profile project in Will's career, which he had to abandon, after playing Pennywise in the recent film adaptation of Stephen King's It. Poulter left the cast of the horror film after Carey Fukunaga left the director's position, and the scary dancing clown was eventually played (and not badly) by Bill Skarsgard. Subsequently, Will Poulter appeared in the acclaimed episode Bandersnatch in the fantastic anthology Black Mirror and played one of the key roles in the critically acclaimed thriller Solstice.

The Lord of the Rings, which has already received a second season renewal from Amazon bosses, is being written by John D. Payne and Patrick McKay, and several episodes will be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. Details of the show's plot are still being kept under wraps.
