The great migration of actors to television continues in America. Media Rights Capital has delighted fans of the comedy genre by signing Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell to star in the mini-series The Shrink Next Door.The plot of the TV project is based on a real story that sounded in the Wondery podcast. The black comedy follows the strange relationship between the psychiatrist of movie, music and sports stars Isaac Hershkopf (Rudd) and his longtime client, millionaire Marty Markowitz (Ferrell). The patient himself did not notice how the shrink moved into his house, and then began to take over the business and savings ... Paul and Will were last filmed together in 2013 in the sequel to TV Anchor. Comedians will not only play the main characters of the story, but also act as producers. The director's chair for the project was booked by Michael Showalter (Love Is Disease).  MRC management is ready to start negotiations with broadcasters. Preference is given to cable channels and streaming services. The studio already has experience in making serials: at the moment MRC is preparing to release the third season of the popular crime thriller "The Ozark".
