Legally Blonde 3 Has New Writers
In the summer of 2018, MGM studio announced the third part of the Legally Blonde comedy franchise. For almost two years not a word was heard about the project, and today the long-awaited progress has finally occurred in the work on the film.Initially, it was reported that the plot of the film will come up with the scriptwriters of the original "Legally Blonde" Kirsten Smith and Karen McCull. It seems that their text did not suit the MGM management. The studio has brought in a new duo to the project - Mindy Keiling (Office) and Daniel J. Goore (Parks and Recreation). The series' recruits have already worked together on the script for an unnamed wedding comedy, which was bought out by Universal. The first part of "Blonde" was released in 2001 and earned more than $ 141 million with a budget of $ 18 million. The sequel disappointed critics, but enjoyed success with viewers: the $ 45 million picture grossed $ 125 million.  Earlier, the main star of the franchise, Reese Witherspoon, signed up to participate in the triquel.
