True, its action from the 19th century scenery was carried over to our days, but thanks to the efforts of Oscar-nominated Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird), the March sisters will return to their usual era, although, judging by the trailer, a new version of Louise May's immortal work Olcott seems very modern despite the historical setting.Little Women is the story of the girls of the March family who had to grow up in difficult times, when the Civil War was raging outside the window. Despite all the hardships and hardships, the sisters never give up, fool around, sometimes feel sad and fall in love for the first time. The eldest of the sisters, Meg, is the embodiment of all the qualities that society attributes to the ideal woman for that time. She is ready to devote her life to her family, burden herself with household chores and is the complete opposite of her sister Joe, a rebel who dreams of becoming a writer. Joe denies all conventions and stereotypes and wants to achieve everything on her own, even if for this you have to give up the most beautiful feeling in the world ... And although viewers have already seen many adaptations of Little Women, none of them could boast such an impressive cast as Greta Gerwig's film. Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen became her little women, and the charming Timothy Chalamet settled next to them.
