Five years ago, Kate Winslet became interested in the biopic Lee Miller - the cover girl of Vogue, who traded her glamorous life for the horrors of war, becoming a photojournalist. Now the project has finally found a director, and work on it has moved forward.Based on Miller's biography by her son, Ellen Keras will be the director. She is best known for her work as a director of photography, and Keras developed her directing skills mostly on television. She has directed individual episodes of Umbrella Academy, Catch-22, Ozark. Keras has known Kate Winslet since Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. “Like Lee, we live in a time when truth is contested, where the promise of political influence determines what is good and what is bad. Lee Miller sought to show the truth, which led her to photography. She filmed the cruel reality of World War II, which was silent. The film invites the viewer on a journey where there is a place of devotion and betrayal, and Lee Miller appears as a mystery - a man with his own secrets ", - Keras admitted.  In the tape, Lee Miller will go to the front lines of World War II as a photojournalist to uncover the secrets of the Third Reich.
