Kate Winslet is eager to film the horrors of war
The journalists of the portal The Wrap report that one of the following projects of Kate Winslet will be a biographical drama about the life of the famous American model, photographer and war correspondent Lee Miller.In the film, as yet unwritten, based on the biography of Miller by her son, Winslet will recreate the image of this brave woman. The film will be produced by Troy Lum (I, Frankenstein) and Andrew Mason (Water Seeker), who are currently looking for a writer and director. According to the publication, along with the rights to film adaptation, filmmakers received exclusive access to the photographer's personal archive. Miller was born on April 23, 1907 in New York. Her father and brothers taught still very young Li photography and instilled in her a love for this art. In the mid-1920s, Miller entered the world of flashlights and glamor covers, posing for American tabloids. Thus began her bright and eventful career. And in 1929, she moved to Paris, where she quickly earned the fame of a talented surrealist photographer. During World War II, despite requests from friends and relatives to return to their homeland, Li decided to become a military press photographer for Vogue . Among other events, Miller covered the Nazi bombing of Great Britain, the Battle of Paris, the horrors of Buchenwald and Dachau.  January 1st Steve Jobs, another biopic featuring Kate Winslet , will be released nationwide.
