Disney brings the Simpsons back to the movies
In 2007, The Simpsons Movie became a huge box office hit, earning more than $ 527 million on a budget of $ 75 million. It seemed that 20th Century Fox was obliged to release a sequel, but the residents of Springfield never returned to the cinema screens.
