The Matrix 4 has a new fighter
The still unnamed fourth film in the Matrix franchise continues to expand its cast: Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Ellen Hollman signed her contract. What role she will play in the future blockbuster is still unknown, but the latest photos on social networks give reason for thought: in February, Hollman changed her long golden curls to a short black haircut.The plot details of the sequel, on which Lana Wachowski is working with Alexander Hemon and David Mitchell, are kept under wraps. It is obvious that the action will unfold in the same universe where people live in a computer simulation controlled by highly developed machines that extract energy from enslaved humanity. The protagonist of the story is Neo, whose fate is determined by a prophecy: the chosen one must save humanity, freeing himself from simulation and joining a group of rebels.  Hollman will star in a truly stellar team: it has already been confirmed that Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith and others will return to their legendary looks. The actress's calling card is the martial art of jiu-jitsu, and she became famous for the roles of brave warriors in the TV series "Spartacus" and "In the Desert of Death". Hollman will soon appear on the big screen in the comedy Monstrous Problems. Three films in the franchise - "The Matrix", "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix: Revolution" - have earned a total of $ 1.6 billion worldwide and entered the top 10 most sought-after films for home viewing in the year of premiere.
