Jessica Chastain will rest in Morocco
The success of Once Upon a Time in Ireland and Calvary have transformed director and screenwriter John Michael McDonagh into a global figure. Today, not only his compatriots, but also American film stars dream of cooperation with the British: Oscar-seeker Jessica Chastain is nominating for John's new film.McDonagh is currently preparing to shoot a drama based on Lawrence Osborne's bestselling novel The Forgiven. IMR International studio announced the project shortly before the start of the 2018 Cannes Film Market. At the same time it became known that the main roles in the film will be played by Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, Mark Strong and Said Tagmawi. Fiennes will play the Englishman David Henninger, who travels through Morocco in the company of the faithful. A car trip in the desert ends with a quarrel, loss of visual concentration and a fatal run over a local youth. According to insiders, Chastain is auditioning for the role of Henninger's wife. Initially, it was assumed that this image will be embodied by Rebecca Hall. Hopefully, IMR will not delay the official press release and clarify the situation with the female lead.
