After the resounding success of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which grossed $ 962 million at the box office, Sony had no choice - the film was still asking for a sequel, and in December viewers will again go to a video game that drags mere mortals into its web.|
As promised by the creators of the blockbuster, the sequel will return the entire main cast of the previous part. Schoolchildren, played by Ser'Darius William Blaine, Alex Wolfe, Madison Isman and Morgan Turner, will once again become prisoners of Jumanji, and Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan will once again become game avatars. However, the project team decided to add variety to the already established group: together with the teenagers, two grandfathers performed by Danny DeVito and Danny Glover will wander into the jungle.
The director's chair for Jumanji: The Next Level was taken by Jake Kasdan, who also directed Call of the Jungle, and among the newcomers to the film, in addition to DeVito and Glover, there is also Aquafina (Ocean's 8).
Jumanji: The Next Level
In Welcome to the Jungle, Dwayne Johnson proved that portraying a teenage gamer in a rocking body is an easy task for him. Now Scala has to play Danny DeVito for two hours, and judging by the trailer, he does it well.
The jungle will invite USA viewers to a new level on December 12.
