The Spanish master invited the muse to the cast of the drama "Parallel Motherhood" * (Madres Paralelas).Almodovar and Cruz met in 1997 on the set of Living Flesh. Since then, the duo has presented the world with five more joint works - "All About My Mother", "Return", "Open Embrace", "Pain and Glory" and "I Am Very Excited." Penelope has already studied the script of Madres Paralelas and was pleased with the proposed role. It looks like the drama producers may be preparing their first acting contract. The idea for the film came to Pedro during self-isolation. In the center of the plot are two women who gave birth on the same day.
