Aladdin prepares for new adventures
Six months ago, we reported that Disney studio is thinking about a sequel to "Aladdin". LostFilm.INFO's prediction came true: the Walt Disney Corporation took up active development of the project.The news of the return to Agrabah did not come as a surprise to the audience. The game remake of the 1992 cartoon of the same name received mixed reviews in the press, but showed an excellent result at the worldwide box office, earning more than $ 1.05 billion from a $ 183 million budget. The second film about Aladdin will be written by Oscar-seekers John Gaitins (The Crew, Real Steel) and Andrea Berloff (Voice of the Streets). Disney doesn't want to copy the sequels to the 90s animated hit, which means we have a truly original storyline.  The studio executives hope to sign contracts with all the key contributors to the first film, from director Guy Ritchie to actors led by Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott. Negotiations with the creators of the blockbuster will begin immediately after the Disney people receive a draft version of the text.
