Will Smith and Kevin Hart take a trip
A classic comedy directed by the Breakfast Club John Hughes about the adventures of two eccentrics will receive a remake from the studio Paramount Pictures. Steve Martin and John Candy, who starred in Airplane, Train, Car, will be replaced by Will Smith and comedian Kevin Hart. The script for the new version of the film will be written by Asha Karr, for whom this project will become a full-length debut. She previously worked on the comedy series Everybody Hates Chris and Brooklyn 9-9.The plot of the original tape is centered around two very different men who, due to the whims of fate, have to travel together to Chicago. The heroes face a wide variety of obstacles, but nothing can stop Steve and John from returning home by Thanksgiving.  After the pandemic, a remake of a film about the desire to be with loved ones will come in handy: Hughes has created not only a very funny, but also an unusually soulful road movie that manages to move viewers of all ages. The actors themselves, together with John Monet and Brian Smiley, will be producing the new travel "Plane, Train, Car".
