Channel USA will tell about the legend of the stunt shop

Image TV fans will see some of the greatest motorcycle stunts in human history. USA channel begins work on a mini-series about the famous American stuntman Ivel Knivel. The thirst for adrenaline drove Knivel into extreme and traumatic sports. He rodeo, pole vaulted, jumped skiing, and in 1960 even played hockey with the Czechoslovak Olympic team. A few years later, the daredevil opted for motorsport and became a professional stuntman.

Knievel set many records for jumping distance on a motorcycle, but most of all his unsuccessful New Year's trick was remembered. On December 31, 1967, Evel planned to fly 43 meters above the fountains near the world famous Caesars Palace casino. The stuntman lost control of the iron horse and got into a terrible accident. Knievel spent 29 days in a coma, but became wildly popular with Americans.

A few years ago, the life story of Evel was interested in Hollywood, but in the end, neither the Sony studio nor the Paramount company have brought their film projects to mind. The image of Knievel on the small screen will be embodied by the star of the TV series "This Is Us" Milo Ventimiglia. Fans of the NBC hit shouldn't worry about the actor leaving the family drama. Filming for the USA miniseries will begin next year, when Milo has a hiatus on the fourth and fifth seasons of This Is Us.
