Tarantino is preparing a Western about the hero DiCaprio
In three weeks the ninth film by Quentin Tarantino - "Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood" will be released in USA. The protagonist of the story will be actor Rick Dalton performed by Leonardo DiCaprio. The image of the TV star turned out to be so bright and convincing that Tarantino decided to make Dalton's filmography a reality.Several years ago, Quentin admitted that he did not want to work until retirement and was ready to end his film career after the tenth film. It looks like the two-time Academy Award winner got a little excited. Recently, he has been finding various ways to extend director's longevity. At first, Tarantino stopped taking into account the film "Grindhouse" and merged the two parts of "Kill Bill" into a single whole. As a result of these manipulations, the number of Quentin films dropped from 11 to 9. Tarantino recently came up with another loophole to postpone goodbye to moviegoers. Quentin began to claim that he was talking only about original projects. Now the director can shoot a new part of Star Trek with peace of mind: the blockbuster poster is unlikely to display the inscription “The Tenth Quentin Tarantino Film”.  The Hollywood celestial dweller has another way to postpone the work on the final picture. The director may well turn his attention to the magical world of television. Today Quentin admitted that he is considering the idea of creating a western about the adventures of one of the TV heroes Rick Dalton. “I can name every movie and TV show Dalton has ever played in, Tarantino said. -The television western Bounty Law occupies a special place in his filmography. I grew up watching cowboys, so I immediately fell in love with Dalton's character Jake Cahill. The Westerns of the 50s had great scripts: in just thirty minutes, a lot of things happened on the screen. Around the 24th minute, the authors of the show began to understand that it was time for them to round off and show some kind of ending. I decided to try my hand at this genre and wrote five episodes for a black and white series about Cahill's adventures. I also sketched preliminary plots for three more episodes.
