No sooner had movie lovers come to their senses from yesterday's news about a large-scale replenishment in the cast of the crime thriller Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as another star newcomer joined the ninth directorial project of Quentin Tarantino. As it became known to Variety journalists, Oscar-winning Al Pacino signed up for the shooting.A few years ago, during a promotional campaign for the Hateful Eight western, Tarantino admitted that he always wanted to work with the star of The Godfather. Luckily for Quentin, his old dream is finally starting to come true. According to preliminary information, the director has reserved for his idol the role of the experienced Hollywood agent Marvin Schwartz. Apparently, Pacino's character will represent the interests of Leonardo DiCaprio's character - the scrapped TV actor Rick Dalton, who will make a desperate attempt to break into the world of big cinema.  This year, no doubt, will take a special place in the biography of 78-year-old Pacino. First, Al first starred with the legendary Martin Scorsese, and now he made an excellent gift to fans of Quentin Tarantino's work.
